We love Cheltenham! It’s a town with a lot to offer, including a fantastic collection of pubs and bars – whatever your taste may be. With an explosion of new drinking establishments opening in recent years it’s been a challenge to keep up. So... we thought we’d put together a handy guide to each and every one! Working within a 3km radius of Royal Well, we’ve tried to include all of what we see as Cheltenham’s drinking establishments. We have, however, found this to be a bit of a grey area, with many lovely restaurants, cafes and hotels that could potentially fit within this bracket. We’ve therefore narrowed it down to places that we feel are used to opening their doors to those just after a drink. We’ve also not included social clubs and those with membership requirements.

Who are we?

Other than being local pub fans, we also have a day job! Maple Rock Design is a graphic and web design studio in the heart of Cheltenham (right next door, in fact, to the Sandford Park Alehouse).
